Engineers Guruprasad and Mayur start working and training in Gpi Poland
Gpi India recently celebrated its 1 year anniversary. The Indian branch is developing very quickly, the engineering department works very effectively, and more and more experts are employed. One of them is Guruprasad and Mayur – Gpi India engineers who have just come to Gpi Poland to improve their skills. Welcome to Poland!
Working at Gpi Group
Both of them are working as a design engineer at Gpi India Pvt Ltd. As Mayur says “It was my dream to work as a design engineer and I’m very happy that I got the opportunity to work in this position at Gpi”. He is responsible for designing tanks and optimize the design keeping cost and material in mind. Guruprasad does similar things, he creates 3D model of the tanks and he really likes what he do: “As a design engineer looking at the tanks designs is really interesting, fascinating as well as challenging at the same time”.
Training in Gpi Poland
In Gpi it is important to build a good and companionate team, we try to focus on training, development and integration with each other. That why Mayur and Guruprasad will stay here for some time – to upskilling, to better understand, learn design and manufacturing. “It will help us design better and build better tanks in future” – Guruprasad says. On the other hand, Mayur notes that: “compared to India in Poland branch the in-depth knowledge on the product is superior”
They both say that the Polish branch welcome them really nice, people are friendly and helpful.
The first culture shock
They both admit that despite being in Poland for a short time, they really liked this country. They definitely agree on one more thing “it is really cold in Poland”. Moreover, they praise the country for its food and want to get to know Polish culture better.
To get to know each other better, Guruprasad and Mayur revealed more about themselves and what they do outside of work. Guruprasad loves watching documentaries about space and upcoming technologies. In his free time he likes to carve in wood and he is also a big fan of “Formula 1”. Whereas Mayur’s hobby is cooking and now in his spare time he likes to explore Poland and get to know the culture.
As Gpi Poland we hope you like it here and we’d love to get to know you better!
