Five 500 m³ storage tanks transported to the United Kingdom
The production of five storage tanks, each with a capacity of 500 m³, has been successfully completed at our production site in Groot-Ammers. Designed and manufactured for a refinery in the United Kingdom, the tanks will be used in the processing and storage of plant-based oil products. Their large capacity and robust construction make them a key component within the customer’s production facility.
After the production process was completed, the tanks underwent thorough preparation for transport. Handling and transporting storage tanks of this size requires a high level of technical expertise and careful logistical planning. From our facility in Groot-Ammers, the tanks were moved to the quay, where controlled lifting operations were used to safely position them for shipment.
At the loading location, the tanks were carefully lifted and loaded onto a cargo vessel. This complex operation required close coordination between our team and experienced logistics partners to ensure that each tank was handled safely and efficiently. Following loading, the shipment proceeded via the port of Rotterdam and continued onward to the United Kingdom.
Upon arrival at the customer’s site, the tanks were successfully offloaded, positioned, and installed at the refinery. The installation phase, shown in the accompanying photos, required careful planning and precise execution to ensure safe and accurate placement within the facility.
This project demonstrates our capabilities in the design, production and delivery of large-capacity tanks, as well as our experience in managing complex transport operations for oversized industrial equipment. The project video provides a clear impression of the scale of the tanks and the precision required during the loading process. We are proud to support our client in this project and would like to thank them for their trust and cooperation throughout the process.
