‘The people at Gpi best understood what we were looking for. I visited them in Lopik and saw with my own eyes that they are well equipped and have all the capabilities in the field of stainless steel.’
Gpi supplied 58 new stainless steel tanks to E&A Scheer. As alcohol vapour poses a significant explosion risk, welding and on-site assembly were not an option. Therefore, most of the tanks were built at Gpi’s facility and transported by truck to Amsterdam, where Gpi installed them in the storage areas through the roof.
