Tank manufacturer Gpi celebrates its 25th birthday with anniversary book and a weekend in Marbella
Gpi Group celebrates its 25th birthday this year. The company is marking the occasion with an anniversary book that tracks Gpi’s history from its humble beginnings to the inspiring and forward-looking company it is today. The anniversary party for all employees was held on 23 and 24 March in the Spanish seaside resort of Marbella.
Proud of our achievements, ready for more
Since its foundation back in 1994 Gpi has steadily grown into a leading and innovative company with international customers. CEO Fred Boere: “25 years: that’s all it took us to grow from a one-man start-up into a powerful group with over 140 employees, and customers at home and abroad. That’s an achievement we can all be proud of.” Fred looks to the future with great confidence: “There are plenty of opportunities we can set our sights on and I foresee strong growth in the coming years.”
A book to cherish
A special anniversary book, containing over 100 pages and packed with photographic material, sketches a vivid picture of the company and its impressive technical prowess. An array of appealing and challenging projects are put in the spotlight.
As Gpi is increasingly operating on an international scale, the book has been brought out in an English-language version as well as in Dutch.
Employees and business contacts will receive this gift book as a memento of the company’s milestone.
Celebrating our success together
Gpi is aware that its dedicated and loyal employees are the wellspring of its success. As they put it in the anniversary book: “People are the heartbeat of our organisation. Because we do things together: from welder to engineer and from director to cleaner.” So there was every reason to lay on a party for all the members of the Gpi family, who spent a wonderful weekend together in Marbella on 23 and 24 March.
About Gpi Group
Gpi is a leading producer of stainless steel tanks and process equipment. The group comprises four operating companies: Gpi Tanks Netherlands, Gpi Tanks Poland, BMN (Beitserij Midden Nederland) and Gpi Process Equipment. The company was founded in 1994 and numbered about 140 employees at the beginning of 2019.
Gpi produces tanks varying in size from 1 to 15,000 m3, either in its own factories or on site at the customer. The biggest customer is the food sector, including beer breweries, dairy companies, drinks manufacturers and the edible oils industry. Other important customers are active in pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and chemicals.
