Stainless Steel Storage Tanks for the Chemical Industry
Stainless steel chemical tanks and reactors for the chemical industry are often subjected to tough conditions. Because of this, reliability, durability, and safety are paramount when designing and manufacturing such vessels.
Gpi Tanks offers tailored solutions for both warehousing and processing of substances. We pride ourselves on complying with all safety standards and regulations within the industry.
Chemical Storage Tanks to Rely On
The chemical industry has very specific guidelines when it comes to manufacturing chemical containers and reactors.
These units need to handle high PSI levels, vacuum conditions, extreme temperature variations, and highly corrosive or abrasive substances. There’s also the risk of explosions to consider.
We take pride in creating PED-certified stainless steel chemical tanks from start to finish, ensuring everything is up to spec.
Gpi Equals Quality and Assurance
Gpi doesn’t just craft an array of reactors and pressure vessels; we also construct shop-built storage tanks or site-fabricated containers up to 15,000 m3 for chemical goods.
Our techniques and workflows enable us to meet the most demanding criteria and standards. That’s how we can create PED-certified pressure vessels according to norms like EN13445 or AD2000, large flat-bottom tanks following EN 14015 or API 650 standards, and KIWA tanks under the BRL-756 certificate.
By having engineering, production, and quality control in-house, we are able to supervise quality to the greatest extent possible and guarantee solutions that satisfy the most stringent requirements.
Aside from the workmanship of our products, the documentation and material traceability of our products are of the highest standard. Every audit is welcomed.

KIWA BRL-K756
Since 2008, chemical storage installations in the Netherlands must legally comply with the BRL-K903/08 standard.
On such sites, vertical steel tanks of up to 150,000 m3 must also meet the standards set by the BRL-K756-3 directive.
Gpi is certified by KIWA to design and build tanks according to customer specifications that comply with relevant standards.
PGS 29,30,31
Is your setup required to follow the PGS 29, 30, or 31 guidelines? If so, we’d be glad to assist you in understanding how it affects your storage vessel needs.
