Pressure vessel
PED-certified stainless steel pressure tanks
PED / EN 13445 / AD 2000 / ASME
Our range includes pressure vessels, and we strongly believe that customer trust is a crucial indicator of Gpi’s quality. Lloyds has audited Gpi’s site and accredited us to independently design and manufacture vessels with pressures exceeding 0.5 bar (H + H1 certification). This ensures our customers work with a top-tier manufacturer of stainless steel pressure vessels.
Experience in pressure vessel manufacturing
Our engineering and production specialists enable us to meet the most rigorous requirements. We hold H and H1 certifications and specialize in designing and manufacturing PED 2014/68/EU-certified steel pressure vessels in compliance with EN 13445, AD 2000, and ASME VIII-1 standards.
For over a quarter of a century, the Gpi Tanks group has been perfecting its resources, ensuring optimal material selection, precise calculations, and meticulous production both in Poland and the Netherlands.
Do you have any questions about our pressure tanks?
Pressure vessels
When manufacturing tanks and reactors for the chemical industry, it is not uncommon to encounter special requirements. Tanks must withstand high pressure (and even vacuum), large temperature fluctuations, and corrosive or abrasive media. The explosion risk poses a significant threat, which our engineers mitigate at the design stage.
As specialists in the construction of pressure vessels, we are able to meet even the most stringent requirements of customers across various industries.
PED vessels
Our project engineers work closely with clients and our quality control department for projects involving PED installations to conduct risk analysis and perform relevant calculations.
Pressure vessels must be designed, manufactured, and tested to ensure safety. As the manufacturer of the vessels, Gpi must maintain traceability of materials and provide usage instructions in a language understood by the customer.
Additionally, we develop a schedule of tests and inspections, allowing us to issue CE declarations for our PED pressure vessels, substantially expediting the project timeline.
Manufacturer of stainless steel pressure vessels
We distinguish ourselves in the steel tank manufacturer market by exclusively using stainless steel. Our stainless steel tanks are distinguished by their high-quality workmanship, durability, reliability, and robust construction. We guarantee an open approach to customer needs and ideas.
On the basis of our many years of experience in tank production, we offer the best engineering and technical solutions in accordance with the customer’s requirements while adhering to current standards. We monitor market trends across Polish, European, and American standards, understand our customers’ needs, and always find the best solution, whether regarding delivery time, challenging transport, or complex infrastructure at the destination.
Specifications:
- Pressure vessels starting from 0.5 bar and above,
- Compliance with PED, GUM requirements,
- Calculations in accordance with EN 13445, AD 2000, ASME VIII-1 standards,
- 3 types of mandatory inspection openings.
The tank can be equipped with appropriate connections and accessories according to the customer’s needs and technological processes. Due to their anti-corrosion properties, stainless steel tanks are widely used in the food and chemical industries.
Tanks with agitators
Our offer also includes tanks with agitators. We collaborate with reputable suppliers and provide comprehensive service and installation of the agitator.
Level of finish
We offer a variety of tank finishes. The standard internal roughness is Ra 0.8, but we always adapt this to the customers’ needs.
Heating and cooling
The heating and cooling functions of a pressure vessel require proper insulation. Our specialists will recommend suitable solutions.
State-of-the-art calculation tools and individual quotations
Gpi’s experts adapt the design and production to even the most stringent requirements. Among the customers for tanks manufactured by Gpi Tanks are representatives of the food, chemical, pharmaceutical, oil, or brewing industries. Stainless steel pressure vessels are proven for the storage of liquids and gases.
The tanks, particularly at the bottoms or shells, can have stub pipes and appropriate connections tailored to each installation based on design drawings created by the innovative Tank Design program using 3D visualization.
On our website, you can use the Gpi Tank Online tool free of charge. This intuitive user version allows you to estimate what your tank will look like.
Tanks with ASME standard
Gpi Poland can manufacture tanks according to the American ASME BPVC VIII Div.1 standard. This standard is also successfully used for tanks operating under vacuum or at atmospheric pressure.
ASME certification is recognized in 140 countries worldwide and is growing in popularity year on year.
